Hey there peps got a prob with 2 1-10v potentiometer one on a 320-2800b running 2 qb96v2 elite and a hlg-240-1400b running 4 1212s and 1 3590 this 240 fixture only runs at 165w with potentiometer and 270w with out, the one that runs the v2s put out 265w with potentiometer and 335w with out dimmer hooked up i check them on a few other driver setups and the dimmer will not come close to maxing the driver wat could cause this i know the wiring is good any one no wat to check in the dimmer its self or somthing?

Not sure who you purchased them from but I had some due from Rapid. Bought 4 a year ago and within the year two had been restricted to half full wattage. Luckily I noticed in the run and could rearrange. Went to place another order this year and told them about it. They said 50% failure is rare, made me wonder what the common failure rate was. I had to ask but they did offer an order discount. I ordered a few extra to be on the safe side going forward.

I’d love to see a better option but not sure the is any RTR like the one they have.

You should be able to measure a potentiometer with an ohm meter. There are typically three terminals measuring across the two outer terminals should give you the total resistance and the center to either side should vary from near 0 to the total resistance when you turn the pot.

sweet thank guys much appreciated and I bought them from rapid as well , but I emailed them they are sending new ones luckily but like frenjamin said wonder wat the fail rate is they are 100 part numbers away from each other. Anyone no of a better dimming solution with out spending crazy money.
