Holes in Swiss Cheese 001.jpgHoles in Swiss Cheese 003.jpg

I know Swiss Cheese has hole in it, but not this type of Swiss Cheese.

I noticed the holes yesterday. There are no sign of insects. I checked again after the light went out. I laid some white paper at the base and checked for droppings. Nothing. 30x loop and no sign of bugs at all.

Nirvana Soil Tabs as nutrients. pH at 6.2-6.4 (IN) and (OUT). Coco Loco soil. There is just one brown spot on lower leaf.

The Swiss Cheese is in her 3rd week of VEG. She's very bushy and appears to be very healthy. Green and no sign of nutrient defs. FIM'd her last week and again this morning.

Just keep watching for bugs, and I don't really no about that brown spot keep a close watch and if it spreads let us no.

Bought some Neem Oil. Gonna foliar spray the Swiss Cheese when the light go out tonight.

8ml (1.5 teaspoon) Neem Oil
5ml (1 teaspoon) Mrs. Myers Hand Soap; any Organic Hand Soap works well.
1 L (1 quart) Water.

Mix well; keep in warm place. Spray heavily tops and bottoms. Every 3rd day untill the problem goes away.
The Hydro shop guy said to keep spraying into 2nd week of FLOWER as a preventative.
PLAY IT SAFE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
DO NOT SPRAY WITH LIGHTS ON!!!!
NO MATTER WHAT KIND OF LIGHTS YOU USE
BETTER IF USED WHEN LIGHTS GO OUT OR AT LEAST AN HOUR OR TWO BEFORE LIGHTS GO ON

Foliar sprayed my Swiss Cheese with Neem Oil solution last night. When the light went out. I took her out and sprayed her real good. I kept he circular air fan going as well.

This is going to take some time. If there is an insect eating my plant. It will disrupt their breeding cycle. It takes a number of applications and week or weeks to see results.

There were no new holes on the plant this morning. Just as well I will keep spraying her every 3rd day.

She's not hurting in anyway. Just the few leaves that are effected. She's as green as can be.

Baylee- ..Brown spot looks like a fungal spot (hard to tell as it's blurry),... not a defc. symptom; snip it off and forget it! Just be mindful of any droplets of water still around by lights-off,... Now the "chewed" looking leaf, that damage looks old, done when it was younger and still growing... might have been a bug, or just physical damage... as the leaf grows, the damaged areas cause the leaf to distort and wrinkle/twist around those places,... notice there's no discolored margins around the holes, which have odd shapes and sizes....even some overspray of something that kinda burned the tissues can do this too,... So, your current treatment is fine regardless,... is it raw neem you're using? (not a derivative of neem oil?) This has lots of other great health benefits to the plant, just be careful with the dilution; neem can burn as well! I also recommend a Silica supp', which also helps in several ways, including fortifying and toughening at a cellular structural level,....

Using DYNA-GRO Pure Neem Oil. Got it at a new hydro grow shop in town. Very well stocked and much better than the clowns at the other hydro shop. When they are critical about Auto Flowers and think they are a waste of time. It's time to find a new grow shop. Idiots.
