SO I got bored and decided to do a little experiment.
I took a 1.24L bottle, cut the top off and melted a bunch of holes in it. about 1L after top cut off
Mixed some soil, perlite and lime, Dropped a sweet seed auto mix in soil and placed in tent under 12/12
I just want to see how well it will grow in this pot and under 12/12.
I will us GO Box nutes.
What do you guys think?

I am not white trash, I am an economically and socially challenged Caucasian!:pighug:

she sprouted, now under CFL's. for prolly a week
Was very tiny and pale yellow, now nice green, pics in AM

Loving the ingenuity! :)

Nice Appleweed.:Sharing One:
The more holes you can put into a container the better your results will be.
More air to the roots is always a good thing.
I do something similar when I use 5 gallon buckets.

I thought about that as well
Trash bins/pencil holders could also be used

Sprouted.
The bottle has lot of ridges to redirect roots as well.
I did the same thing to my 5 gallon buckets Ronin.

my friend is a geo-tech he gives me soil sample bags and they work real good also i have used burlap bags in a pinch.
