Hey don't get down on yourself. I bought one too and after using it and experimenting with it some I found it to be unreliable. I would have told you sooner but I missed where you were asking about them.

As long as you are 2 or 3 tenths close you should be ok. Its gotten me thru 2 ph issues, better than nothing. Do you know the ph of ur tap water?

I would test my water and then rinse and dry the meter and test the same water again. I might get readings of 8.7 the first time and 6.3 the next. I could just have a faulty one?

Funny you asked, I just calibrated my meter it read the solution water fine didn't have to adjust. My last meter said my tap was 6.0 this meter after being checked says 8.4 I guess I got lucky as I have a half gallon of nutes that I made yesterday with tap water an reads6.6. Thats the good old Irish. I have nonidea what my run off is. Ill check that tomorrow when I give her a feed of nutes. Then I'm doing str8 h2o flush feedings

I checked online what the local water department posts ph of the tap water. My pen reading is within a tenth of that.

Nice. Maybe defective ones are sent out. We will see what good it does for me. I think I am going to use distilled water next round

I use both. With my tap after nutes it is now going to about 3.5. Takes a lot of ph up to get it around 6. I think distilled is about 6 to start with. Our local water is pretty good

Finally got my broveda packs, still waiting on my jewelers loop an trimmers. Day 61 and I'm still getting white pistols. Wish my jewelers loop would come so I can see where I am really at. Today will be the start of my water flush. Yipppeee. As much as I had fun doing this I can't wait for it to be over lol.

Decided to chop today. My jewelers loop came I got 60% amber and 40% milky. That k God I got the loop an they didn't go longer. The downfall is I been water flushing for only three days hope she don't taste like crap. Ill put up tomorrow wet weight for each strain. Yayyy it's Over. Now to plan for the second round
