Outdoor HookaHittn Autos All Summer Long

Hey Hookah

I really like how you are doing this. I am imagining about fifty of those bags, hmmmm.

Nice looking grow my friend.

Im tellin you eekman these are my best autos yet. I would think a 10-15 gal smart pot , same method would work bad ass. I think its too hot where im at to sprout autos now. My new sprouts dont look as good as these but maybe theyll suprise me

I am in a hot area as well, but the way you have been describing it, it seems you are a bit hotter than I am. We haven't got into the 100's yet, but a couple of days into the mid 90's so far.

I feel that a set up with a mister, and a fan would help trememdously in the evenings. Give them a little humidity, bein's how dry it is out here. I am generally in the 20 to 30% range most of the time.

Anyways, just a though goin' through my head at the moment.

But I do like how ful the bags seem to be. You might suffer some yeild per plant, but it makes up for it in the volume per bag.

Good looks Hookah - as I'm sure you are, I'm excited to see how these finish up and envy that you are now legally growing these beautiful plants. You said this is the first time you've grown with this multi-plant per pot style, have you grown these strains out before in their own pots to compare yields? Seems like you'll still have a bountiful harvest, happy growing.

Eekman - It has deff been warm as of late. I am having to water them atleast every 2-3 days. Maybe all those plants suck the pot dry so fast? Or these smartpots just dry out with all the airflow they get. The autos seem to like the heat better than my tomatos and cucumbers. The tomatos start gettin wilted after 3 days of no water. Ive never seen this before but I ussually grow them in the ground. I agree I think I could have got bigger overall plants with less plants per pot. I had a ton of all these beans and figured for half to turn male. This was a sensi run, i thnk i had around 40 sprouts in there at the beggining. Traing them with sticks to spread them apart helped them alot. They all get a good amount of sun and are swellig a ton atm. My backyard is starting to reek lol. I think the have a week to ten days left. Its all plain water here on out. I dont like my buds getting moist but I have been soaking the outside of the smartpots when I water them

Dudenochance - My buddie grew all these strains indoors and did a fat seed run. The plants were around the same size. I mostly didnt want to buy a bunch of pots. I figured the bigger pots would dry out slower too. Like i said these are some of my best autos yet. Im deff happy with the results so far and theyre not even done. It could be the smartpots air pruning the roots and that i switched to better nutes. Ive run the general hydroponics 3 part flora series durring this grow.

Greetings Fellas

My autos are swelling and swelling. Figured I would upload a few pics. I tried using iPhoto and my digital camera for the first time. See if the pics are any better than my phone. Took me awhile but I got it done lol. I chopped my first one today. It was the smallest alf dominate , ALFxBB. Some of the pistils looked like they were getting over done/yellowing. She's deff super frost just didn't amount to much. All the others need at least another week. Still don't see any cloudy or amber tricks. They seem to be getting pretty close. Temps are forecast to be in the 100 degree range or higher for the next 5 days. I just watered them and Im sure ill be having to do that every other day. The paks look want better than that pic looks. turing into some nice fat round colas. The icus look just as good, a few have been fox tailing looking pretty solid

Very nice job. 100 degree heat wow for a Canadian that is hot. Just curios does your plants show heat stress outdoors ?

Thanks Gilly theyre deff smelling good as well lol.

Fairlynew - 100+ degrees is hot for us too.. The hear doesnt seem to affect them as long as I keep them watered. I think once theyre established and used to it they love it. Its not ideal for young seedlings. My next generation look a little stunted.

Nice! I don't know that in Canada could be as hot!! even when we still aren't in summer... Where I live (south-europe) we normally suffer a lot of heat. I recommend you to put something for doing some shadow for the pot and finally the roots, for example putting the pot inside a wood box, etc. Another important issue is that black pots would absorb much more heat than white ones because the black will capture quite more the sunlight and consequently more heat too.

Congrats for your med card buddy! You are so lucky for have this right!
Smoke big one to celebrate!
