New Grower how do i use ph up/down

why cant i mix up a gal. use 1/4 and store the rest for next time?

How big is your pot?? Yes, 1/4 strength on the nutrients per gallon of water. If you only use 1/2 the gallon, then you will need to place a air stone in the rest of the solution for a few days to keep the ph stable. But like I said, probably wont take the whole gallon depending on pot size, but I would water all through the top of the soil in a circular motion until it has enough runoff to get a reading on it.
