Day 38 in a 9 week grow through a 40X loupe. Should trichomes of this stage of development be apparent or is it a last week or two event? Mine have some frostiness but certainly no way to see those eerie bulb topped stalks.

I'ts a little early for trychomes to form.Do you have buds forming? The buds have to get a good start and then you will see the trys.You can see them with your loop but to get a good close up you need a 100 x nicroscope that you can get online or at radio shaak.

What shd trichs look like at this stage?
depends on the strain man.my white widow is 46 days and only had trichs for the last 6 days but she is frosty as shit now and still has long time to go,also u can get additives like bud factor x that will make her produce more but I don't use till last 2 wks before 1 wk flush
