Grow Mediums How does everyone cool their reservoirs or buckets ???

Depends what size you go for, the smallest 100l nute chiller from Hailea runs around 80w but is tested to 140w.
Please use science when chilling your medium. I used to dump ice and ice water or just cold water on the plants roots and it looks nice about the 3rd or 4th application but as time went on it seems the resin (trich) production stopped although I had purple fan leaves etc. and that wonderful purple ganja smell It didn't help out the finishing of the plant itself once or twice I had to give it more nutes to revive the plant back to green or mostly green with resin (trich) production at last more of what ya like right. So next time i'm just gonna give it some cold water stored in the fridge and maybe that will hake it happen. I used soil and had that soil in a sturdy fabric bag once used to hold rice grown from the Himalayas I guess it was purchased at the market. I dunno I took it from the trash at the restaurant I used to work for.

hey guys you might not want copper in your res it will kill your plants.a really easy way to keep your system nice and cool is to put your dwc inside a bigger tote and wrap that tote in insulation. fill the outer tote with water and then you can put as many frozen waterbottles as it needs to keep your res temps down. I use about 4 bottles a day and my temps stay at 65.my house temps 80. I cannot take credit seen on bubbleponic forum.
I keep my thermostat for the house at 75. My plants are about a foot off the floor and have white curtains from the plants up. Keeps my growroom about 80. Bottom is open with a fan and keeps my rez temp right at 75, sometimes lower.
I made a soundproof box for my 77w air turbine for air exhaust and a second box for my air pump (http://www.ebay.com/itm/Commercial-...7136333?pt=US_Hydroponics&hash=item27d89176cd) that is placed in the air flow, now my pump is silent and very cold the rez temperature dropped from 26Celsius to 23celsius (ambient temperature is 28.8celsius)

I put a computerfan 37cfm 12v running at 5v on top of my res blowing air down into the res.
Idea is from looking at aquarium cooler at amazon.
The fan setup keeps my res. 2c lower. its now about 22c my ambient temp is 25-26c.
The res evaporates at a faster rate so i`ll keep my ppm a little lower.
