I've heard it said a few times that not much you do to a plant in the last couple weeks will make much difference.

Well, I have a mature plant that's 5-8 days from harvest being flushed already. I want to move it off to the side so I can get more light onto a younger plant, only a few weeks into flower but filling out rapidly. If I do this, the mature plant will get considerably less direct light. Anyone have opinions on whether this can cause any stress or damage at this stage? Thanks.

Do not do that! They do the most bud swell and resin production at the end.

The end is the most important time. Auto are known to double in size and weight the last two weeks. Keep those lights closer than ever and give them time. Some growers do a 2-3 day period of all dark to stimulate an extra hashy plant. It will not grow without light. That is the energy they eat and use to grow.

Has it dropped a lot of leaves and yellowed the remainder with browning edges? Autos finish hard, they literally go faster and stronger until they die. Photos too, just not as easily seen.

It's yellowing right now, but hasn't started the browning edges yet.

hey gringo, how the green crack turn out in the end?

The GC would be the one I want to get closer to the light. It vegged for 7 weeks.. it's a fricken monster. Only three weeks into flower now but filling out fast! I'll probably post some pics in the Fastbuds subforum soon.
