In the Deep South. Average first day of killing frost here is 10-31.

After my photo harvest I planted auto Silver Haze. 79 days per the ad.

Seeds in paper towels on 8-10
Into peat 8-14
Up on 8-18
planted outdoors 8-26
Will I get it done before too late? My first auto try.

Thanks!

Here are pics from 9-20

Breeders times are a "best estimate ", most will go 2 weeks longer that breeders times. It's kinda more accurate to start counting day 1 from first true leaves... but for your plant, I'm estimating a finish mid-late November. Counting from your sprout date, 79 days would be early-mid November. Looks about right for were she is as well. I've finished a girl or two when it's pretty cold, need a pop up greenhouse. I have one that's 4x8 and 4 ft tall. Bet they make smaller ones.

Thank you for your reply. I gave them some good eats this week. I’m set for the season already, but this would be a nice bonus. Curious about the Silver Haze.
