Speaking bout hps/mh i changed mine every 3rd run(11-12 months)i did. they maybee last 50.000 hrs but during the time the loose a lot of their output. i figured out over the years 9-10 months they are running o a 100% and then they start to get floppy.
With the leds no more props atm running since 1,5 yrs constant on 24 hrs for the autos with no loss of effectivity. Imho on longterm sight the cheaper investment.
