Lighting how many autos can a 250w hps flower

just wondering how many autos i would be able to run under a 250w hps would 5 be to many ?

The question is dependant on square footage, pot size, and strain. I think your best results would come from 2 larger plants if you have the headroom or ability to train.

I've regularly done 4 under a 250 hps but it gets crowded.. Get the same results with 2 and they have more space and easier to deal with water etc

Again a lot depends on pot size and medium.

Sorry to butt in. I want to know the answer to this aswell for me. Lol 30 litre air pot, G13 Purple Haze 1 plant scrog/top/fim +supercrop grow. Will be using bio bizz light mix, bio grow and bio bloom. drobe, area would be 90cm wide, 5o cm deep and 1.6m high. Would 2 Helios pro 2's + a 250 lumatek dimmable/super lumens grow a monster?

Grow two plants, and train them to maximize your square footage. If one of them is a monster, cull the weaker one.

I am on day 2 with my Purple Haze, only ordered a single seed, I will train this plant to be a monster. Growing auto's in my other 2 drobes gives me the time to get this one bang on!


I have really given it a good run with leds and had success, but having spent a grand on leds since June'13, I simply must try hps + led together. I'm certainly not looking at replacing leds, but don't want to fork out £400+ for the next level up.
