This is by no means a hate thread or dis at mephisto. I love mephisto. I have grew out some nice plants from them. Here lately, however I have been seeing alot that stay tiny and even a few throw nanners. Other mephisto plants right next to them do great and get pretty big. I was just curious what kinda issues you all have run into growing mephisto. Thanks everyone and keep up the great work.

Look how little these 3 meph plants are. 1 of the cdlc is throwing nanners. The younger healthy auto is a sweet and sour. The 4 babies are photos from cannaventure. I love mephisto,

it just seems I'm not having great success with them anymore

Looks good to me. The better looking pheno of 24 K I have right now threw two nanners. Gave them a snip, no issues. Have you changed anything about your methods when it comes to the Meph strains? Consistency is key. Good Luck.

I had 2 forgotten strawberries throw bananas here recently but other than that just monsters as usual. But usually stunted or runt plants is medium to hot, bugs, or over water.

@STILLSMOKIN is correct. That is not a "Mephisto" issue. That is grower related. Not sure what medium is being used or what is being fed? Those plants are not healthy, possibly
Bugs
pH
Overwatering
Overfeeding or severely underfed

Need more information. Many people who use "soil" amendments look good at first, but run out of steam in flower. Many factors, but all of them are grower related. Not seed related.

Thanks for the help and suggestions guys. They were all 3 dark healthy green until about 2 weeks ago but where still tiny. I quit feeding them because I want them to finish faster so I can run photos again.Soil is 50/50 happy frog and OF. fed them organic grow 2-2-2 at 30 and 40 days. I then fed tiger bloom around day 50 60. They are about 80 days now. I have grown a 28 inch dbl grape next to a 11 inch dbl grape that was super dark purple and the most potent auto I have ran. I know everyone loves mephisto . I do too. Just wondering if anyone else has had less than ideal outcomes lately with no super obvious reasons.

I do know these ones look bad . I stopped feeding them and let them get too dry once or twice. Every breeder in the world has a few complaints. I do know most of its my fault. Just looking for any similar issues from fellow hobbyists

Had a few nanas but only on the untested illuminautos ... these are just crossed and sold rather than whittled down to lock in phenos and traits .... just tend to keep a close eye on these strains ... even had a full on male grapey Walter.... won’t stop me loving the Mephisto crew

I am the walrus

Before giving up on autos Try just the happy frog and water. Or if you want to feed then go with coco or a seed starter. Autos dont feed like photos. I get bigger healthier plants without using nutes for first 30 days.

What do you feed and how often? What is your Medium? Bugs? Stressful life's can cause Nanners. If you need advice on how to fix your problems, I am here to help. If you make a few changes, your plants will look beautiful and you won't get Nanners on 95+% of Mephisto strains. As stated by someone else, Illuminautos would have a high chance as they are F1 generation and untested many times. Good luck
