Indoor how many plants under 400w hps?

Might I add that my tent could have comfortably fit 4 but the cool tube reflector isn't big and the plants on the sides would have been pretty much under the attached exhaust fan and not the light.

I haven't weighed 2 of them but my smallest plant which I might have stunted gave me a lil more than a half ounce. My tent is 62x36x20 inches so four plants got kinda crowded when I tried to put them all under my cool tube.

Well that means i wouldnt probably be able to get 4.5 oz out of a 36x36 tent with a 400w hps & 4 23w cfls! how many days before they were ready for the chop? approx oh and thanks for the replies! i would like to have 1.5g's a day but it doesnt look like i'll be able to with this light lol !

oh so with a hood i could maybe fit 5 in a 36x 36 well there might be hope if i could get more than a 1/2 oz a plant! lol but with my noob skills i doubt that will happen lol! i'm hoping i can achieve this goal with this light i really dont want to buy another light

U can easily get an oz a plant man I just had some deficiencies because I was kind of unequiped with some things. I dont know what materials u have but u should have no prob getting atleast a half oz man.

4 large autos in large pots or 9 smaller autos in smaller pots you will get over 5oz if you dont mess up and KISS

sounds good agito thanks again! i saw a thread where someone is using 7 3gallon pots and the area looks filled in nicely! and i think it was in a 3x3

depends on the size if the plants get bigger than 1.5ft wide then 7 will be to much it will depend on strain in the 3g and if a scrog net is used
