Live Stoner Chat how safe is this site?

definitely turn off gps first. I know that for sure

In the past this has concerned me too, so I used an IP tracker and on the map my IP was 4 miles from my house. So I found out that I don't have a IP specific to my actual geographic address.

There are also a number of ways to get another a new IP, one by simply turning of your modem for a while and tuning it back on.

I am only growing four plants at a time and have no criminal record so I don't see them targeting me even if they worked out who I am and the punishment on four plants would be minimal if they did (UK).

I have done enough grows on forums and never even had a worry about it, I am more worried/careful about people like landlords and utilities when I need something done in my flat.

There is also a fuck of a lot of cyber crimes going on out there and governments can't keep up with that as it is , let alone worry about me a small time pot grower.

Vpn is a good idea, one thing I find a vpn useful for is watching programs in other countries but also keeping what you looking at hidden etc. VPpn's are not illegal and millions of people have them, so you won't stick out like a sore thumb, you'll just be a needle in a huge haystack.

Good point about turning of GPS faded, also I you use a smart phone, when you take pictures with your smart phone the geo location can be stored in the photograph. There are lots of programs that will remove this for you. It is wise to do this. I personally don't use my smart phone to photgraph my plants, instead I use a camera which has no GPS on it.

You are spot on with your arguments there brother Arty. It all depends on whether you are under the spotlight, or not.

As for LSD, I have tried it and have mixed feelings. And as far as old currency "LSD" I think that my "three and fourpence" is as valid as anyones two cents.

G'night all, eP.

VPN is very good choice, i'm using one. There are few thing to watch with vpn:
- Check if they keep logs. If they do stay away from them
- Only use OpenVPN protocol, thats best encryption, everything else sucks

VPN gives you new IP but also encrypt all your connection so your ISP cant see anything you do online

Good night our aquatic monochromed pilchard addicted avian brethrin :D sleep well.

Ive thought about this alot .. and my thing is i just don't feel the NSA is looking at the AFN its just not a "threat" sight and guys remember it cost money to track people and tracking people for growing autos is a huge waste of resources on a government leval.. Im sure the NSA has looked into AFN and realized there is no threat and have moved on..

If you give them a reason to spy on you :)) ok,i will leave my afn account and try some vpn.

To break 256 AES encryption you need massive amount of resources (btw they say AES is not breakable but its a public secret that NSA can do it with their supercomputers) so if you're not Pablo Escobar or some terrorist then no worries my friends :)

Hi guys, SG I want to agree with you. But. If rider #309 amended to the latest emergency budget bill stands without veto or survives a veto battle, the agency as routine,, will send local law enforcement any and all data it picks up on crime. No warrants needed.
As has been the case in every instance that the cops get a new tool, regardless of the intended target of the law that creates that tool, they end up using it on the public.
The Kingpin Law is a good example. Enacted to nail assets of real cartel and mob bosses, it wasn't long before they were taking cars from Johns and homes and businesses for the slightest infractions. Many through stings that are entrapment.

Edit: Often, by the time justice is actually served by higher courts the property has already been sold.
