Indoor How should i spread these plants out

I am trying to get feedback and opinions on how I should spread these plants out to get the best lumens per sq. ft when they get bigger......my room size is about 10x8x8 with 31 plants 8 which are photo period strains and will be vegging while growing the other 23 auto's. I am going to only use 3 of my 1000 watt HPS raptor hoods...So should they be set up in a L shape. there mostly DP Think Different so they will get big and take a lot of room. If the canopy gets to think I can add some 150 watt cfl's. So lets here your opinions on this.....thanks sry tried to load a picture of the whole room but didn't go through but there in my albums ..

I did 32 in 10x6 area.it was tight and i lost yield since lower buds did not get much light.I now only do 20-25 in the same area and it still get tight depending on strain.The bigger strains like NL or TD i only do12-15.Less is more ! If they are to tight you will not get a good yield.Only top buds will be big.If you take less plant and open them up you will yield the same if not more.Plus it will cost you less cause you will use less soil,nutes,etc. This is somthing i have learned from experience.I dont see a problem with the average auto in a 10x8. But those td can get big!

You will need to factor 1 square foot min per plant and most likely 16" x 16" for most small to medium strains to avoid crowding. A decent sized medium think Different cant easily take 24" x 24" for instance.

thanks guys and thanks for the diagram I will be moving the photoperiod strains out of them room or if its get warm enough outdoors I will place all my photo seedlings and clones outdoors so it will bring me down to 21 autos consisting of 7 think different, 10 auto wappa's, 2 AK-auto's and 2 diesel auto's... so 3 1000 watt raptor hoods to cover them and if I need it I can add my t5 bad boy in there too or a few 150 watt cfl's. I cover a 5x6 area pretty good with the raptor hoods. So I don't have much info on the auto wappa's to know how big they get either but as far as the TD with just the 21 total auto's in there do you think I will be a lot better off???

yeah and I am sure these TD growing under 1000 hps will be large too so if I run out of space I may have to move them all into the room im trying to build now...The new room is 12x20 and I haven't got the lights for it but there will be 4 600 watt's added to the 4 1000's I have now and will be a perpetual harvest...I just didn't expect to have it done so soon was taking my time with it but its framed up insulated and ready to be wrapped in orca film.... I might be better off to move into it soon.
