I'd hold off on feeding at 7 days and wait till day 14 UNLESS they show signs of being hungry(yellowing). You should also try to keep track of the amount of ph down your using to make it easier the next time you do it.I go by drops for small batches or tspns. for big batches of nutes.Example 5gallons of water for me is 1 tablespoon to drop it from 7.7 to 5.8.

I've never used that Ph down. Stoking has some solid info IMO. :thumbs:

What kind of meter do you have? Remember, it takes a solid 5 minutes at least, in my experience to get an accurate reading with my Ph meter.

Vinegar will work, but it has a downfall. It will only lower a short period of time. Be sure to let water stand over night lower it and check it daily adjusting down and stirring the water so it mixes well.

If it were me, I would give at least 3-4 days from distilled a week from tap. So that way the ph is stable and near goal before fed or watered on delicate plants. Good luck.

One last point on the pool ph, most use sulphur, high doses kill our plants with ease.

I use Canna pH- bloom. Tap water is 8,5 (!) here so 0.7 ml / 10 L bucket puts it down to around 5. Now, few days later it has climbed to 6. All measures with drop test but the babies are healthy in coco.
