New Grower How to grow autoflowers from start to finish ?

I am planning on growing a few autoflower plants but need help on knowing what to do properly. What type of lights can you use that doesnt cost too much but produces good weed ? what to feed your plants untill you introduce nutrients ? when to introduce nutrients ? If someone could please help i would appreciate it thanks

Hey there g.ward and welcome to the AFN. Mainemedical posted a great read in that link. I have the same one down in my signature as well as a few other helpful ones. I recommend checking them out. We also have a lighting section HERE

Since you're looking for low cost lights, shoot for cfl or T5s. The lifecyce thread will tell you when to feed what. For the first couple weeks it's just PLAIN Ph regulated water. Hope this helps, it should start you in the right track and we'll all be here when you need us. :smokebuds:

As far as lights go you could look into a t5 or cfls. They're cheap to run and not too expensive to start. I would recommend a t-5 with dual spectrum. I would go with 2700k and 6500k bulbs and alternate them. That's just my I'm sure a lot more people will stop by to help soon :smoke:

Yep definitely have a read of what mainemedical, gave to ya. CFLs are a good way to go for cheap lighting for ya, lot of great growers here, that come out with dank, using CFLs. :group: Veg stage you wanna go with the 6500K cfls and for the flowering stage, use 2700K. CFLs dont put off alot of heat either.

thanks for all the advice people, i have a tent 1.2m x 1.2m and was thinking of doing 4 plants, if i am using cfls bulbs then does it matter if they are blue or red spectrum or should i get one of each for each stage of growth ?

okay thanks mate, could you just get a dual cfl or is 2 seperate ones better ?

With cfl mate,one big duel spectrum bulb wouldn't cover that space or grow 4 plants you would probably need more.:smokebuds:

Red is rite you'll struggle to get 4 plants under 1 big CFL i got a max of 2 but with an extra 125w for side lighting i used a dual spec lamp and got over 2 OZ at my biggest yeild
