You treat Coco Loco a little like soil. You will want to allow the pot to dry before feeding. Coco Loco is amended, so it's good to go for the first a couple of weeks before regular nute feeding. PH 6.3-6.8. I've been growing with Coco Loco for a long time. I also have their (Fox Farm) newer straight coco called Plain Jane Big Boy Pants.
5 ounces from the Royal Queen strain Royal AK. When I first began growing I used a Happy Frog/Ocean Forest/perlite mix, then Ocean Forest/perlite 50/50. I haven't used it in a long while, but have seen posts saying that it isn't the same quality. It's a hot soil and that seems to perplex some growers too.
Both do the job. The straight coco you will need to water near everyday. Don't feed straight coco water only. It needs an additive. Coco is more of a hands on situation.
I use Autocobs (I have 6) from www.cobshop.net and I also have 2 Spider Farms SF 1000 quantum boards.
