When I pull my girls from hanging and drying, a few hermie seeds usually drop into the pan. And a few more drop out upon use three weeks later.

I would like to utilize these seeds. Can anyone tell me how to go about it properly?

How long to wait between finding a hermie seed in some dried flowers, and using it, and what should be done in between?
Do they need additional drying time?
Should they be stored or refrigerated?
How soon can they be replanted?

Thanks,

Anyone?
This is the second time I have posted this question. No love so far.

:(

I have personally never used bag SeeDS or hermie seeds so don't have much knowledge on the subject. I would think it would be possible to germ some as soon they have pulled from the bud. I suppose there would be factors that would increase chances of germination.

I cant comment on this as you ask but I can tell you this. A local friend of mine with over 50 years of growing experience gets a couple of seeds(and I mean 2 or 3) total off a 2 pound outdoor plant(varied strains) every year. He used to grow these out exclusively and he told me that he couldn't recall every seeing anything other than a female plant from the offspring. I believe his seeds were stress induced due to cold outdoor nights. Obviously this is not the case here with yours, but do not assume right away that every male flower formed is pointing to flawed genetics. This could be the plants way to ensure its genetics carry on in the world. Roderization is a prime example of this.

Should they be stored or refrigerated? Ideally in a dark glass jar sealed in the fridge...ive had seeds stay viable for over 5 years in hot/cool fluctuating temps though.
How soon can they be replanted? No wait time needed I don't think(though I am not a breeder)

@Waira - I'd love to hear your thoughts on this...am I full of crap or what? :D

The one plant looks good in the past few weeks. I just started another (New plant every 4 wks). I am running a Kind/Roots grow in a 3 gal fabric pot. The first plant was repotted/transplanted into the 3 gal. The 2nd plant is also in Kind/Roots/fabric but was germinated directly in the soil in a 3 gal so the roots shouldn't be disturbed.

A male flower on a female/hermie will make feminized seeds.
