Hi folks can anyone tell/explain to me how to wash the salt and other unwanted stuff out of coco blocks
i know they use calcium nitrate and ive seen it done with calmag but at what strength and can i use pm magnecal
any advice is welcome
cheers nudd

Make a light nutrient solution, about 50% strength of what your first seedling feed will be. Also add 2 ml / gallon of calmag. PH the solution to 5.8 or so.use this solution to expand your bricks, then add it to your pots. Run 2-3 gallons of the solution per gallon of potted coco. That will adequately rinse it, and get a decent pre-charge of nutrients.

Thanks skatter i`ll give that a try later

Thats smart, I never thought to do that. Have a bottle of the stuff and never use it, since switching from DWC. Very good suggestion.
