i have pretty much the exact same ballast much better to go with that than the other one i saw i would be a tad worried with those tiny plastic jobs , not my cup of tea, great price also ! i got mine from the uk as here they are so expensive.. and 400W wow.. i dont know about your grow area, but sure u wont settle for a 250 ? hehe

250 has a lower lpw than a 400 600 and 1000w

if you can afford it, i'd go with a nice digital ballast like lumatek... also having a air cooled hood is very nice, you can get the light alot closer..

@ agito i might be wrong but arent 600 watters the best lpw out of them all?

agito are there not breeders here on afn using leds.(cant think of his whole name) ed ros....is testing leds and has said he thinks they are the future.im no expert on leds but have read a lot on them, the technology coming down the line is unreal. another thing about glasgow grower if hes a newbie to growing leds are a lot less hassle. its something he should even think about. sj
