I lean toward fertilizing weakly every time I water. Autos grow so fast I always want them to have food nearby. No water fasting, but that is based on guessing, not testing.
Some people fertilize once a week and it seems to work just fine. What do you think?

I hear ya. I'm trying the feed them less more often lol. less more often sounds funny to me.and I'm high.lol the theory being that they always have food at the same level on a consistent basis without burning them up. of course this is only a theory and an experiment. it sounds closer to hydro growing but in soil, if that make any sense, lol. my normal feed was 1 feed to 2 or 3 waters when the pot got dry. usually 3-5 days in between depending on the strain and size of the pots. I guess a lot would depend also on the type of mindset a person has. I'm a tinkerer so I HAVE to mess with things lol.....dam it now you got me thinking, cut my feed mix to 7ml to 500ml ratio and just feed.thanks for the motivator
Day 66. she's showed an N def so added a 1/4 tspn of Alaska Fish to the mix. and she's gulping it down at 800ml a day. and filling out great. I suspect she'll go 90+ days. still popping out pistols and getting frosty in all the right places.
the local weather is calling for milder temps for a few days, 65 low-81f high. tent temps 74-82f so I've added my cfl side lights while I can.when the temps go back up,which they will, I'll cut them back if heat becomes an issue. heres a few pics.
wow day 73 and going strong! she's starting to ripen up, yellowing leaves and swelling buds! really getting top heavy. I might have to stake her up so she don't break off. the cooler temps are now giving way to the more usual high 80- mid 90f. but at this point I am not changing a thing. I will say this though. if all you have is a chip bag soil light and nutes and ridiculous high temps, HBSS is a good choice. even with the 12/12 light for most of her life and the less than ideal grow container, I do believe she'll yield somewhere between 2 and 3 oz. enough of my drivel, time for pictures
