Here we go! Day 4. Plants are doing well enough. No big jump in growth just yet. We will get there. So daytime temp has not gone above 75 F / 23 C. Night time temperature went as low as 65 F / 18 C. The soil comes Fertilizer heavy and I mixed in neem cake so I just give plain tap water. No insect problems. I keep spraying the perlite with small sprays of Pymethrin. Not much else to report. Ask me questions if you have them. I also switched the light schedule to 20/4.

Turned up the HPS to 1000 watt setting. Night time temperatures were getting too cold. Hope the tiny seedlings can handle the extra light. I will check tomorrow and see.

Just keep the light far away for now and gradually lower it.

Not much to update. Plants growing rather slow. I hope it's because they are growing some big roots.

Temperature is stable. Plants seem healthy.
I will upload pictures tomorrow. Tomorrow will be day 9 and I am not happy with the slow growth.

Slow growth continues. I ordered a 1000 watt Lumatek dual spectrum bulb. My current bulb is a ushio HPS with optimized blue. I am thinking maybe the optimized blue is not enough blue to get my plants growing. A true dual spectrum might be what I need. We will see how the growth is after I switch the bulb.

No problems with the plants other than the slow growth. Temperature is nearly perfect day and night. Only a 5 degree shift during the night. 75 F daytime and 71 at night. Can't argue with that! 600 watt setting.

I will upload a picture tomorrow but not much to see with the small plants.

Day 10. Not good. 2 of the 4 plants. The other 2 plants are even smaller. The HPS is 45 cm from the plants. Temperatures are good. Constant supply of fresh air.
I mixed the perlite into the soil. I hope it helps speed up growth.

Yes bro that low humidity is defo the problem try putting some wet towels or spray the walls with water to get it over 35%
