I am very new to growing and started out with AN nutrients ph Perfect, mainly due to good advertising I will admit. I am running a RDWC system which is doing well be have run into issues with very high ppm's and stunted growth even when trying to really cut back on the recommended amounts. I run a 28 gal res and RO water, no cooler yet, What else is out there for good performing nutrients? I have seen House & Garden as well as Emerald Harvest, what else is out there and are these good ones? The other challenge I have is that I have no hydro retailers near me so pretty much everything gets here by mail order, typically Amazon.

Any thought or ideas will be greatly appreciated.

Youll probably get a dozen different answers on this topic. I dont run rdwc but i do run drip fed recirculated in clay pebbles and dwc.
I use gen hydro flora 3 part series.
Its only about 30 quid for a litre of each and gets me decent enough results.
I think @HotBunz uses these nutes too and he grows great canna

all hydroponic nutrient will work just fine.. but keeping your nutrient solution in the sweet spot. slightly falling ppm and stable ish ph is crucial for a good yeild...if thatˋs not the case. it will not matter what kind of nutrient you are using.

I first tried AN pH perfect in my rdwc and it was a disaster. pH was all over the place and the plants were really suffering. Mid grow I switched to H&G Aqua Flakes with Multi Zen, Bud XL, Top Booster and Top Shooter. I was still over feeding a bit but by my second grow with them had them dialed in pretty well. Results were very good. After about 5 runs using H&G I was gifted some of the Cultured Solutions nutes. They were developed by Current Culture specifically for use in their rdwc systems. My current grow if the first using them. I've had a few issues, again mostly from over feeding. With the H&G I rarely got over 500 ppm (500 scale). I kept the same levels with the CS nutes and they were too high. I'm finding I need to run them about 100 ppm lower, at least with this strain, Blue Dream. I intent to give the CS at least another run and then make the decision on which I will stay with. I've already done a run of Blue Dream with the H&G. At this point, 60 days flowering, the CS tric coverage looks a little denser. Bud growth seems comparable. H&G has great tech support, CS not so good.
