Indoor Hydro or soil for my auto flower grow?

Hello I am new here. I've been growing for a few years now ,I have done hydro and soil before, but only have gone with an auto flower once before with soil (fox farms nuts and soil) . So I would like some advice on growing some autos with hydro .
I am growing in a closet 3x3x9
400watt hps/mh
i am going to use fox farms
i was thinking of growing 4 from seedlings

Any ideas would be great thanks

what advise can you give with growing autos in soil? I am still not sure which medium I am going to use.

If you are going to use foxfarm ocean forest soil I suggest not feeding your autos for the first 3-4 weeks.

I've Been thinking a lot and I have decided to go with soil.
What do you guys do with your soil?
i usually use fox farms ocean forest soil with 1/3 perlite mix.
I have been growing for a few years but never posted online.
Would be nice to try something new.

Hey G, first off, welcome to AFN, you're certainly in the right place for autos!

I'm a noob, so take what I say with a pinch of salt...just some experiences from my first go...you know yourself that there are so many soil mixes to go with, so whichever you choose, get it mixed up and let it rest for a couple of weeks, let everything activate in the soil, test it and make sure you're happy before you pop those beans.

I, in my ultimate wisdom, did none of the above and have been fighting ph from day 1, now at week 4 and still fighting it lol
