On the DP website somewhere in joes blog there is a greenhouse in Belgium that uses supplemental light and the sun...result on photos were unreal.(over 10lb Frisian dews anyone?)

OH yeah derek...would it be okay if my wife and I built a small cabin on your off the grid property and moved in? Sounds like future paradise!! I am a pretty decent gardener, I promise!

We are always looking for like minded folks to help out at the Hippy commune as we are calling it And if you are a staff member on the Pot Pros side I would say you might have a decent green thumb lol(I actually started my growing with photos for about 8 or 9 years and will continue with my breeding once I get all established and do a few Auto grows) We currently only have 1.5 acres but we are about to buy the two adjacent lots and are going to have 3 or 4 total acres when it is all said and done and yes it is what me and my family have been dreaming of for 2 generations. I am going out there with my mom and stepdad who are real deal hippies and have wanted to do this for 50 years, and we are finally about 40 days away from starting the rest of our lives

Man..it really does sound like paradise!! You guys must be crazy excited!! My wife and I live on the grid, but we do grow almost all of our own veggies and meat every season.

We'll try not to take dereks thread too far off topic so I will keep it brief. Haven't grown out bunnies yet, but we are getting it set up to grow some out next year, mostly to feed to the dogs(we have them on a raw food diet). For my wife and I, and another couple we grow 120 chickens, 10 turkeys, 2 miniature dexter cows and 2 pigs.

Damn right!! Same here...if there is no fishing close by I am out!! (a huge reason where we live where we do is the world class freshwater fishing in this area...a true trophy area for Smallmouth/Largemouth Bass, Walleye, Northern Pike, Musky, Rainbow/Lake/Brook/Brown trout, Whitefish, Burbot, Herring)

We are going to be in the San Luis Valley in Southern CO which is no more than 30 mins away from world class fly fishing(which is our preferred method) as well as a few State Wildlife stocked natural lakes as well as hunting galore! It is definitely a piece of heaven! Not to mention it is literally one of the best spots on the globe to grow and utilize the sun @7200ft above sea level with an average of 360 of sunshine a year and temps that never get above 90 degrees F, it is pretty sweet that is for sure!
