does the 11 to 12 week finish time apply to small pot grows.1/2 to 1 gal pots in soil?my plants seem to teeder out around week 9 n 10.leaves always start falling off n discolor.these plants are like 18 inches little branch bud sticks.usually start tiger bloom week 4 1/4 strength....maybe to soon or is that OK to do to finish sooner or is my smoke gonna suffer.should I try n veg longer?? meaning if I did would the plants still stay short???

Week 4 should generally be about the right time to start bloom nutes assuming the growth has been normal until that point. Personally I like to start feeding bloom sometime around when I first observe proper pre-flowers developing;

In relatively small containers (<gallon) it isn't uncommon for the plants to finish somewhat earlier than they would were they given more space. IME when the roots have reached the boundaries of the container the plants seem to focus on flowering. On the contrary if you give them 5 gallons for example, they will usually grow until they're limited by their genetic potential.
Please note that these are my findings on autoflowering strains' behavior exclusively. If you're growing photosensitive strains you might be able to counteract some of the container's influence by vegging for longer. Or not.

The way I see it, how early you start adding bloom nutrients won't affect smoke quality all that much but your yield may suffer as a result of starting too early or too late.

Both my micro grows have gotten to the 70 day mark or even a little past it. They might be ending earlier than they could otherwise, but I don't have the means to test (like doing a larger grow side by side and seeing if they live equally long). At any rate it's close enough to the normal timeframe that I haven't had to worry about it.

Veg feed for 3 weeks as soon as you see hairs swap to bloom feed by week 5 the roots should have made there way to the bottom on the pot( last chance to move your pots about if u have different heights. Week growth stops and she fills out. Every auto is different if it says8-10 weeks on the packet let it do 10 min and go to maybe 12. It's done when it's done!! Don't rush!!
