I germed this Cali snow auto on 1/4/18 along with 4 others. The others where replaced for what ever reason by beans I germed about 9 days later. . . My question is about my Cali snow girl tho. . . It's been 80 days or so now since germin her in the paper towel and then placed into a rw cube and then placed in the 6in net pot lids with clay pebbles. Growing using dwc/bubble buckets. . . I had a problem with heat for a week or so after changing over to the hps bulb.. ..and had some root slime issues n ph issues(went about 2wks with no meter) but all that aside I think it will turn out okay. Esp. For it being my very 1st grow. . . .Either way. I need to know. . . .is she ready to cut? Should I be flushing her with ph water only right now. .. I've been using the 3 part GH nutes ?? I presh8 any help.

It would be fortuitous to buy a usb cam, pocket scope or jewelers loupe to check trichomes. It really is the best method.

Leaves tell all on an auto i say she is so close it wouldnt matter. May leave in dark a day or so.

I've read that on numerous occasions. That the leaves are the tell tell sign of when auto are ready. . . .But how are the leaves supposed to look?. . . Also what does leaving it in the dark for a day or 2 do to the plant? Thanks for the reply too.

Leaves? I check trichomes by snipping a piece of bud, not leaves.

I had autos dying before and still no amber. Thats why i say leaves tell ya. When it looks like yours with the leaves falling off she is done.

It's really all a comfort zone thing anyway. Whatever works best for the individual.
