Lighting I run 3*600e HPS start to finish. What CFL should I get for veg?

Hi all,

I currently run 3 * 600w hps lights in cool boxes.

I have been advised to change my lights to CFL during veg. What should I get, as in wattage and bulb type.

I would preferably like to get E40 bulbs (the fitting size the same as my hps bulbs) that way I can use the same cool boxes.

I had a quick look for that fitting type with little success.

Any 2 pennies you've got, throw them in!

Not sure what you want to gain by this but you will need 2 45w CFL bulbs per plant. At about 2" off the plant or one large one like a 125w. I use 6500k daylight. But I'm switching to an all led nursery.

Why not run 600w MH? Same ballast, just change globes
