Grow Mediums I want to try hydro, you want to do hydro with me?

@RamboGarden @Aunty Edna

I learn new stuff every day. My current grow is mostly new to me. Watch it and learn with me. I have had colossal failures but I learned from them. I try to pass along my knowledge good and bad. Some lessons have to be learned the hard way in order to be appreciated. I have over 40 years experience in organic vegetable, flower and fruit growing outdoors. Much of that practical experience ports over nicely to indoor cannabis growing. I had my first flood and drain cannabis grow indoors back in 1976. It was fairly successful for the times. Then I worked in a career that required random drug testing for 25 + years, consequently I was out of the cannabis arena all of that time and more. Getting old is not for the weak; I have degenerative disc disease and was prescribed cannabis for pain control a few years ago after the Nsaids started to attack my liver and kidneys. Thank God for cannabis. The pain is mostly under control and my liver and kidneys are happy - me too especially when I over medicate :bubbles:.

I am retired now to watch the grass grow - LOL.

Here is a system, but it's only 32mm piping.

And with that piping is there a chance for the roots "clogging" the pipes? The buckets are 30 liters. Or else everything is in the system, auto-top-up, the easiness of checking PH - Ec in control bucket.

I don't know? The web page says "fitted to combat the problem of root blockage" - not defeat!

"Design

The RDWC hydroponic systems come in two sizes, either 20 litre pots or XL 30 litre pots.

The 20 litre pots are linked together with one row of 32mm pipe and fittings. The XL 30 litre pots are linked together with two rows. This allows for a free flowing system which recirculates the nutrient solution several times an hour. The larger diameter pipe has been fitted to combat the problem of root blockage."

If you buy this be sure to journal it so we know if it works.

I will for sure document it, I will need assistance even before I dropped the seeds haha. This looks easier then the buckets. Yeah but I remember you say that smaller pipes could be blocked. This is smaller piping.
I had a bit of luck and got some extra cash to spend on gear. Asked my wife and she said: "you can buy what you want, I trust you, you know about this" haha, don't know a shit about hydro hahah. But I smiled up like a sun a early summer-morning :smiley1:

Ill call them right away....
