I tried that along with other diverters/baffles etc.... water movement will carry the roots right into the pipes.

System is on 120liter according to ther website. But its 5 bucketsx30 liter? Not sure how they calculate....

That's the return right ? Your roots should grow downward then outward . if all else fails goto a gumball machine that spits out rings or whatever and use the plastic globes. Slice em long ways for flow. Roots should be deterred by the plastic. Best thing I can think of

According to their website : "The XL 30 litre pots are linked together with two rows. This allows for a free flowing system which recirculates the nutrient solution several times an hour. The larger diameter pipe has been fitted to combat the problem of root blockage."

Thats something we will see... havent seen any alien rdwc system here so this grow will be kind of an review of their gear. If it goes well i know there will be alot of roots... @alienhydroponics, lets see what your gear can do.

There is 4 of these in each bucket where 2 of them is where the water comes from and 2 where the water goes out.

Haha its my first DWC with no experience whatsoever, its the first time i see a dwc... you will beat me like stealing candy from a child. But im not scared, lets battle! Im doing Northern Light Autos. They will probably come up in 2-3 days..

I know this is a PITA but carefully measuring the volume will be beneficial down the road.
