Do the roots just disintegrate when you tug on them lightly? I am not so sure that is root rot maybe but I cannot tell by those pictures.

Its not magnesium defiency, its boron defiency! And how come? I bought a brand new PH meter from ADWA just to use for this hydro-grow. So even after i calibrate the pen its shows wrong with 0.8! Point eight! Thank you ADWA @ADWA. This is the last time i ever buy anything from you. Your PH-pens are garbage. This meter showed 0.8 wrong straight from box, i checked it against my old ph-meter direct when i opened the box. Now i tested the pen again aginst another pen and it shows 0.8 wrong to that one aswell. So ive been running my girls at a ph of 7! Im so angry. How can a company sell a broken pen? Adwa, garbage, ph pen, ph+, ph-, ph-meter, phmeter.
Dont use adwa, they are not to be trusted. Last grow i had faulty meters aswell. Now this time its even worse. Its not possible.

So, i have lowered the PH to 5.6 so the plants can get their boron. I just want to throw up, vomit on Adwa PH-pens.

What pencil should i buy? Cost whatever as long as i can trust it.

PH 7.0 is not the end of the grow but can cause some issues. These will go away fast - overnight with proper 5.8 PH.

I recommend and use BlueLab PH pen. You need the maintenance kit which will come with some calibration fluids 7.0 and 4.0. and cleaning tools. It needs to be calibrated once a month. And the storage fluid. The calibration fluids get used up pretty fast so you may want to get extra bottles of that.

Wich model of the bluelab? I think there are a handfull different ones?

Mine did not, all accessories were separate. Just looked the probe care kit has everything you need to get started.
