Boron Deficiency
Problem: A boron deficiency in cannabis is relatively rare unless a plant is underwatered or in a really dry environment, and is usually accompanied by other types of nutrient or pH problems that appear as problems with the leaves.

The first signs of a cannabis boron deficiency is abnormal or thick growth tips along with brown or yellow spotting on new leaves.

With a boron deficiency, upper cannabis leaves display abnormal and/or slowed growth. Growing tips may not grow properly, may display twisted growth, and may die off. New leaves may wrinkle or curl.

Plant roots can also be affected by a boron deficiency, showing unhealthy or slow growth. Stems may become rough or hollow. Boron deficiencies are more likely to appear when a plant is underwatered or experiencing very low humidity (very dry air).

A plant with a boron deficiency may look like it has a calcium deficiency because boron is needed for the plant to properly use calcium. New growth is affected the most, and may look like it's been burnt or scorched. A boron deficiency is often accompanied by an apparent potassium or nitrogen deficiency, as these nutrients are needed for the plant to use boron.

Twisted leafs, slow growth, the roots can be unhealthy.

Atleast the problem is solved. And I also think because the girls did not have all their nutrients available the roots took a hit. I bet the roots would be fine with the proper nutrients. The temps is down to 20.5°C in my rez.
Guys, these girls have take a beating, pretty sure they lost alot of growth and yield. I would be more happy to re-do it, I allready have girls germed en popped. What do you say. I'm sure I will kick ass with the correct ph. I also understand that less nutrients in the start will make my girls grow faster.

I know the girls will yield something, but they will not be all they can.

You want to see cripplings or big Plants? I like to harvest big plants.

Hog wash get the ph right and the girls will be right on track like it never happened.

Douple that. This aint too bad at this stage. Just fix the pH / feed and you will be right on. Thats why hydroponics rocks bro.

I hear bluelab is one of the best pH pen manufacturers. I like models where you can cap the reader head and hold it in storage liquid. They seem to really last and do good job. Keep in mind that really low consentrations it is best to do both chemical test and pH pen reading since pens have hard time giving accurate results. Also chemical test is always good reference if you get weird readings.

@Mañ'O'Green, no they do not disintegrate easy, the touch is firm, like a rope...
Relax brother . but the slimes gotta go don't be scared give em a bath idc what anyone tells u. Look back at Alice's dead roots and look at her now. I just took this pic. Wrap your roots around the bottom of your pot when your done cleaning them and the new roots will come man. The slime doesn't go away unless u wash it. And your rocks!!! I did it to everyone of mine . u can save them I swear!!!

They are bad.. the twisting of leafs was not to wrong RH, it was the lack of boron. So the girls have been fighting against this all the way until now. If looking back its seen early on. These girls will not become 300-500 grams plants. I know how fail-plants looks like. If it was just something small that can be corrected in a day that's just occurred I would fix the problem. But this lack of boron has been continously since Start. With sm-90, watertemps at 20°C and a ppm at 150 from start my girls will go strong. What should I buy to really clean the system? The 30% peroxide is only sold by pharmacys and you need to have a :greencheck: from gouverment to buy it.
I better lose one month then crippling my way through 3 months...
Defiency and slimey roots... no its a failers road. Im not taking that walk.

If you are looking for perfection, it may be best idea to start from beginning and be sure to be aggressive against slime and these issues. I am sure you have learned a lot from this first try what works and what doesn't. Give your system a really really good wash and clean up the whole garden room too before you start. I like to always put some beneficial bacteria to go for the first couple of weeks, such as AN's Voodoo Juice. Good bacteria keeps the bad from taking a hold. Boron is a difficult one to diagnose as it can be confused with many other symptoms at first and I guess it makes sense since it may be more likely to appear at low RH conditions too. This was first one for me but I think it was due to your failed pH meter. I remember my first one was ADWA too and I f** hated that piece of sh**. :cuss:

Then you understand me :) I want nice girls, i feel like shit when i create something with my hands i cant be proud of. The way there dosnt have to be 100% correct, but when i can see that the end result wont be what i want, i stop and re-do until i get it right.

May one ask what i should clean the system with? Something that can be found easy in a hardware or groceryshop as i have a very long way to the hydrostore.
Ive got plenty of that sm90 but thats not for cleaning :)

Lets flip page... but sooner then later, my girls are at day 3 or 4 so a transplant need to be done so the tap-root knows it got plenty of space to grow in.

I ordered the bluelab-pen. Will have it this week.

What will really do the job except the peroxide? Our contry is very restictred.

I have just used any soap that says it can be used in garden applications and very very very hot water to go with it and rub it with a good sponge all the way from everywhere and rinse really well multiple times to make sure all goes out. After that I use peroxide products to soak everything that I have already cleaned for couple hours just in case. Not always so I guess its not really all that important.
