As a lot of first-time seed buyers do, I bought from ILGM before I really knew any alternatives. There seeds are good, but they don’t have the same germination rates across strains. My white widow and GDP’s all germ’d 100%. My blueberry and sour diesel were 1/4 and their growth was iffy. What IS nice about ILGM is they will send you new seeds or give you a credit toward buying more (your choice) when you have issues. It’s a nice insurance against newbie mistakes. Most companies don’t offer such a guarantee.
ILGM have always been great for me. any issues are always resolved by delivery and germination guarantee so not sure how much has changed since this

The biggest issue with ILGM is they are a white label seed company (like Fast Buds.) They don't do any of the actual breeding themselves, instead they source genetics, rename the genetics, then call them their own.
That'd be like buying the Mona Lisa, renaming it the Lana Misa, and telling everyone you painted it.
Very little genetic control, unknown genetic quality (because they didn't do any of the work themselves,) and they rarely talk shop about their own genetics. That doesn't mean you can't grow grow bangers from a white label company, it's just you are growing bangers that someone else breed (and sold to that company.)
yeah i fully understand the white label issues but this is a thing for a lot of the big seed companies. i'm at the point now where i take with a pinch of salt whatever is i'm growing. in terms of genetic quality i think ilgm are really good, but i do have no idea where they source them from!
