@testerx just want better yields. It's not "broke" but I feel like I'm nor getting the results I could be.

If you don't mind my asking, what sort of yields are you getting now with what size pots? The soil mix and nute regimen you are currently using should deliver decent results. If you are getting a zip or more from a 1 to 3 gal pot, you're doing pretty well... not that more isn't doable, especially depending on the strain.

I got around 22 grams each from 2 plants and 10 and 14 grams from 2 others in the same grow so 4 plants that yielded less then 3 oz. My current grow has 3 and they might get a half oz each.

I'm using 1 gal pots. I didn't tier the first time but did this time

Are you saying to ph the water to 6.5 but don't worry about soil(runoff) ph?

Yeh as testerx said dont bother with the run off is another good way just put in at 6.5 always muddy said the same thing to me a good while ago and thats one of things i did never botherd with the run off....

As regards to you saying before that your plants dont get tall as others try staying on Grow nutes till week 5-7 depening on the strain ive stunted a good few changing to bloom early with autos

I'm saying that is what I would do... see how the plants take to it and go from there.

I just looked in on your grow. It looks like it is possible your growing conditions are not ideal and the plants in all those pics look over-watered... it may just be the pics.

The pheno's you have (they look like Kush) are not going to yield like bushy pheno's will, so that is part of it.

If you don't let your soil dry out between waterings, your plants won't have ideal root growth.

I couldn't see what kind of lighting you use.

Bottom line, things I see that could be affecting your yield: Grow op that isn't ideal (lighting, ventilation, temps. etc... any/all of these can affect yield.

Over-watering, or poorly drained soil-mix (I didn't see much perlite in there) can also affect yield since it can drastically affect growth.

Pheno... I usually get a pretty good yield but, I have grown some pheno's that yielded about 15 grams in a 3 gal pot. I usually get 30 or so under the same conditions with normal pheno's.

Ok cool. Once again I thank you guys for all the help
So I won't bother testing runoff anymore.
My lighting is good a flourowing cfl plantlight and blackstar led I think its 280 or 260watt
My soil does need amended but I was on a budget so I didn't do that. I let the closet door open for several hours per day so its not a ventilation issue.
I only water when pots are dry and water until I get about 10% runoff
It might be the pheno because I need these seeds to make the single cola the dominant trait so I can grow them out in my garden this spring and they have less of a chance to be spotted amongst my tomatoes

What is the highest yielding auto you guys have grown? Maybe ill try it...

My soil does need amended but I was on a budget so I didn't do that. I let the closet door open for several hours per day so its not a ventilation issue.

Opening the door is better than nothing but fresh air-flow is more ideal. There are lots of very small clip-on fans and such that can be used for small cabs. I have a 4x4 cab that has 3) 7" clip-fans plus my exhaust fan (approx 200 cfm). That may be overkill, but I have a friend who thinks it isn't that important and when we grow the same strains, I get more than twice as much yield... closer to three times.

What is the highest yielding auto you guys have grown?

I have not grown any of the notoriously heavy yielders but, I usually get about 30-35g from a 3 gal pot and 55-80g from a 7 gal pot... That's good, but it's not coming close to breaking any records. Anybody could get that with the right conditions.
