I’m having the worst time trying too germinate

I believe that some of the transplant problems begin much earlier in the case of "wet tissue germination". By the time the embryonic root is 2 cm long, micro root hairs have already formed and begun to penetrate the tissue paper, looking for nutes to begin the growth process, and fuelled in this early stage by latent energy in the seed leaves. When this embryonic planr is moved to its pot, these root hairs are destroyed.....not good.

For me, I always transfer the seedlings to their pots within 24 hrs of the seed cracking and before the micro hairs develop...thus eliminating potential damage which affects the plant later on'

Just my 2 cents worth

I don’t get it, who you exactly referring too. Nobody’s claimed too be an expert and ypu know what some seniors are experts. We we all debate and argue and talk shit were fucking humans not robots. Transplanting does not not speed growth or improve speeds of plant growth, neither do they grow any stronger or sturdier. Instead Autoflowers hate transplanting. As green skell has mentioned his theory is spot on. My biggest problem was getting the humidity right at a young stage which I’ve conqured and my overall worry was transplanting. Which has been addressed perfectly.
OMG does anybody actually read or do u just pick one sentance and ignore the rest? Pot size directly effects speed and growth why is that so hard to believe? Look it up! Autoflowers dont hate transplanting ALL plants hate it. If you know what your doing the plant should never know it was transplanted. Breeders only recomend final pots bc if they do get transplant shock their life span dosent give them time to recover. Temp and humidity is not your only problem I have plants at all stages in my growroom from seedlings to late flower my humidity is 50-60 and 70-80 degrees. and have no issues.Humdity is relative to temp. Transplanting is not rocket science ppl. Good luck my man by the looks of things your gonna need it.

Yes dude thats a crucial point....

Maybe starting the seedlings in jiffy pellets in a propergator will cure that issue, some do the soaking method, but yes the handling procedure sure is very sensitive. Having extra water should avoid that too a certain extent.

This was ypur original statement

First or this is a advise forum not a debate and my statement was that bigger pots are harder to maintain while in seedling stage since the top soil dries out while the rest of it stays damp where the roots cant reach yet and most begineers overwater with big pots. If he is a new to growing he has a better chance of transplanting at least once other than putting them into final pots. But thats just my advise from my own exsperience but im not a expert like most claim to be on here just go around looking to debate and argue and talk shit. both have advantages and disadvantages its up to you to figure what works best for you. And its proven fact that transplanting gives way faster growth ecspecially in seedling stage and as long as your carefull and not a idiot transplanting is not a hard thing to do Ive gown both ways and the transplanted plants always grow much faster, sturdier and stronger.

Look we won’t debate with master Tyler, and we will take all his statements as words of wisdom. As he clearly said fellow growers claim too be experts and they talk shit, and he clearly doesn’t talk shit.

That’s not even me reading a single line we have covered half off it lol

He then quotes > And its proven fact that transplanting gives way faster growth ecspecially in seedling stage and as long as your carefull and not a idiot transplanting is not a hard thing to do Ive gown both ways and the transplanted plants always grow much faster, sturdier and stronger.

That statement above is full of bullshit please ignore this advice lol.

No we have covered all ypur last statement, and we have realised your a obnoxious person, and are you happy too realise that I can read more than one sentence lol

No in ypur second statement ypu state all plants hate transplanting auto flowering strains, and photo period.theres you saying in your first Statment plants love transplanting !!!!!!! So make your mind up before you get told and then come out with all this nonsense nobody can read every body claims too be an expert and they like too debate and when your the only one here provoking others into a argument and bad mouthing people, so I advise you get off this thread and ramble ypur crap some where else, we have realised your a grand master grower Tyler, and the truth of the matter is, I needed help that’s why I’m asking lmaooo. So yes I do need luck... and ypur humidity goes too 80 percent in flowering there’s me thinking I knew it all.

Just calm down a little bit, and you will be ok.

From everyone’s advice I’ve gathered

Getting some jiffy pellets or riot root cubes

Placing them, in a egg carton in a propergator, or on there own

Once they grow into the jiffy’s I’ll place it in a solo cup with holes cut on the sides like green skell has suggested and place it in another cup so the ligh doesn’t attack the roots. Also will use a light mix of bio bizz seedling soil.

After 13 days in a propergator they will be transplanted in a larger pot with humidifier full blast.

I’ve tried most ideas guys, burying the whole seed.. failed
Germinating the seed than placing it in the soil and placing a plastic cup over it and I failed .

So all I can do is wait too see if my current thing will pull through. If not guys it’s 20 seeds fucked and all in the bin, not too say they were some the new releases from Mephisto like forgotten cookies and strawberry nuggets which needle like crying.
In my personal experience Jiffy Pellets PH is too low at ~5.3. Go with Root Riots or Rapid Rooters.

Oh yes I was looking at them aswell, they come in a tray.

Do you just place the seed into the rapid rooter and straight in propergator

Throw seed into Rapid Rooters, making sure RRs are moist.
Cover hole loosely with RR crumbles.
Into germination tray at around 80 F until roots show.
Then RR + Sprout into final destination, dirt or hydro.
Very easy, very effective.

:yeahthat: I use 25% strength seed week nutrient strength to moisten cubes.

my Water ppm is 65 naturally, and luckily for me my ph is spot in 6.5 straight from the sink.

If I was using distilled or ro water I’d defently go with the 25 percent dilution rate.

But the above ypu have mentioned is crucial defently in like a hydro system or something similar. Where the roots directly feed on nutes, even coco for that matter aswell, but I’ve made it a little simpler.

will use the riot cubes for the first 4 days let’s say, then riot roots transplant in solo cups were they will be placed in as low release seedling mix, and then too final pots, with humidifier full blast.

And with the help off everyone I’ve chosen thease methods above, so the plant suffers no plant shock or me mistakingly over or under feeding at a young stage.

But at the moment guys not using the above method,
8 seedlings
4 died
3 are showing sights of recovery
1 is doing really great and it’s a forgotten cookies from Mephisto

I’ll take some snaps in early like 30 min or so.
