i just inherited allot of supplies from an old grower who is no longer with us . only equipment i didnt get was his wisdom and that is why im here today . i have the passion and desire and revived my seeds from herbies yesterday

this is what i decided to start with
 buddha-assorted-auto-feminised-seeds_500.pngNEW ASSORTED AUTO!!!Buddha claims this is "The best autoflowering mix. 100% Buddha Seeds Quality".
In this mix you will find one seed from each of these strains:

White Dwarf
Red Dwarf
Deimos
Syrup

The pack also contains 6 seeds from strains that will be in the market in the future or experimental hybrids, between them you´ll find smells and flavours which will remember to many of the biggest classics and some others really innovative.

DONT KNOW Y ITS UPSIDE DOWN BUT HERE IS MY GROW AREA. 7x7. the window will no longer b there thats were my ventilation will exit photo 4 (2).jpg
this is the table and 3 gallon pots i will start and finish my pots in since ive read they hate to b stunted with transplant . i will add a few more to make 9 or 10 2014-04-04_16-16-53_116.jpg

this is the soil i purchased 2014-04-04_16-11-26_682.jpg

these are the nutes i have 2014-04-04_16-03-54_171.jpg i know nothing about them, do i have what i need for a complete grow ? this is were i have read so many debates and im still confused

i have all the lights i need t5 2014-04-04_16-17-26_405.jpg
i have two of these reflectors with 400w bulbs 2014-04-04_16-17-43_995.jpg i have to of these reflectors with 400w bulbs .. multiple cfls with different wattage with reflectors2014-04-04_16-18-36_34.jpg

and more lights 2014-04-04_16-18-21_324.jpg

So im going to start one 7x7 grow room . im going to use the table and pots from above . like i said im growing inside and older rv .
i plan on having 9 or 10 plants in that area . will this carbon filter be enough for that area mVlqET7y6qn54vmkNPgqc1w.jpg?????

i also will have an ac running in the rv to help with temp.

also i have fans ,timers, ect..

now for some questions ..

should i start these autos under the cfls ,t5 and if so which bulbs ? veg and bloom mixed? or do i start them under 1 400w and then add second when i have to spread them out .

are the nutes i have good for a complete grow . i see people debate using a veg nute at all and some say veg all the way thru with bloom , some say no veg at all ...so confused "High Team Help Me"

has anyone used this im considering buying it soil_meter_kc_300B_lcd.jpg.

i have had my fox farm and light warrior mixed togethner because i read u should do that before getting ready to plant ..

You get out of it what you put in...it's not a personal online technical service representative.
(Although, they even provide that service for emergencies, free of charge)

While it's true that this community is one of the nicest, most helpful group of folks around...
It's also true that the information already represented here (which is vast) sometimes needs
to be sought out instead of handed to you on a silver platter.

If you show support for others, maybe they'll show support for you...
Just my 2cents...

its always a lot more quiet on the weekends here at AFN. as to your questions
1. you could start with any of the lights you have, i wouldn't use bloom bulbs just now, only veg and when they start to flower you can then use your flowering bulbs
2. i always use veg nutes as this sets the plant up for a better harvest of buds, the nutrients you have will be more than enough for a full grow, start them on 1/4 strength and slowly increase them over the weeks
3. i haven't ever used a soil probe but i hear good things about them, although the one you listed only tells you the temp of the soil and how dry/damp it is. to tell if you need to water you are better off learning the weight of your pot when the soil is dry and when it is wet
4. the soils you have listed i don't have any experience with so i cant help you on that one

i hope this helps you out, and please don't be discouraged if no one answers your questions straight away someone will jump in at some point

For what it's worth, I strongly considered Light Warrior mixed with Ocean Forest as my first potting soil...at the time, I figured I could cut down the hotness (level of inclusive nutrients in the soil) with the Light Warrior and be in a good spot for both germination and growth without having to transplant or tier method or any of that stuff...

I finally opted for Happy Frog instead because it seemed like Light Warrior potentially made the mix too light to where it would drain too rapidly (considering that the seed needs moisture to germ)

But I think it's totally doable.

I think one of the biggest mistakes I made was not recognizing the importance of 2 things. A decent ph pen for dialing in feed solutions and measuring pot run-off and Cal/Mag supplement (but the Cal/Mag is more crucial, it seems, for the LED folks.)

thanks for your reply ...ive been in my room looking today deciding if i wanted to start them under the 2 400w .that way i wont have to take down the t5 and then hang my big reflectors . on the 4 in 1 meter it looks nice and shiny but im not sure . i need a ph meter so i figured if that at-least worked it would b ok i agree with u on the process of figuring out the weight of dry/ watered pots is the best way ..

only thing im waiting to purchase is the carbon filter . i hate math and its hard to do all the math to see if the size i want is big enough...

yeah i would definately go for a ph meter rather than the soil probe to start with  iam sure there is a simple formula to work out what size carbon filter you would need, i will try and find it for you. is your area 7ft x 7ft? i grow in a area roughly 2ft x 2ft and i use a 4" carbon filter and i can't smell a thing outside my tent. having a rough guess i would probably say a 6" or 8" carbon filter and extraction fan would be sufficient for your space. i dont have any experience with the lights you have as i use led but a general rule is to place your hand at the tops of your plants and its too hot then you need to raise it up. as for exact distances you could maybe ask in the lighting section of the forum.hope this helps you out. as i said before its always quiet at the weekend on here but your questions will be answered bro :peace:
