Hello!

I thinking about an outdoor grow in this year. Right now I running my first grow and I really like this stuff :)
I start to search some outdoor seeds , and when I read the description I feel myself really confused. I think autos flowering by ther genetics and becouse the light what they get. For example:
'

  • Genetic: Critical Mass x Skunk #1
  • Yield: 300 - 350 grs. / m2
  • THC: 14%
  • Indoor height: 80 - 90 cm.
  • Outdoor height: 1 - 1,2 m.
  • Indoor flowering period: 60 - 70 days
  • Harvest: From April to November"
I dont understand why they need to grow from april to november, when indoor they finish it about 70 days...
Its completely destroyed the little knowledge that I thought I know :D
I search a place in the forest , but if I need to keep it in secret from april to november I reject the plan. It too risky. Its a noob question I think, but I really dont understand why they need 5-6-7 mounth to finish if they are autos.

Strain descriptions from breeders/seedbanks have always been a little confusing if not deceptive. Just last night, i saw on a seedbanks website that Sweet Seeds has strains that flower in 30 days! i'm pretty sure that they meant it takes 30 days from the START of flowering and even thats probably a stretch of the truth! There isnt a an auto strain in the world that finishes 30 days from germination. It would be nice if it were true...but im not holding my breath!

i think that this means you can start these plants anywhere from April to November...not that they take that long to mature. A lot of times, the photo description of the strain is used on a seedbank's website for Auto strains...that's just laziness IMO! The best thing to do is to look through the strain reviews and grow journals on AFN, to get reliable info on a strain that you're interested in.

DAM...
I realize this, after I start this post, but I cant be able to delete it :D
My english is not so good, and sometimes really hard to understand whats the meaning. After a bit more thorough interpretation and search I realize this thread hasnt got raison d'etre. I'm sorry.... Dont want SPAMing... :S

No worries, mate. It's good to point this out to people who may not realize. We will just leave it here for now.
