Insects and Mites

Not sure if you are talking chiggers or thrips.
Both are terrible this time of year but neither are trailing.
Chiggers want blood
Thrips want plant matter
thrip damage is very easy to see as they leave tiny yellow lines on the leaves they have been dining on.
Any type of garden jumping spider will go to town on those small insects.
It is kind of neat to see one on the hunt and eating what they catch.

is azamax is a safe plant growth regulator? i get worried anytime i see "PGR""kudos"
Azamax is a neem concentrate. It's organic and has the same properties as neem, except it's much more deadly to bugs. Should have seen those caterpillars wither.
I was curious what are those tiny blood red little spiders/mites that crawl around on everything in trails outdoors during spring/summer? You know the ones you used to love to squish with your finger as kids? I cant get a scope on one to tell if they are the Carmine Spider Mite. Ive only seen them blood red, and they are tiny. Only reason im asking is they are all over at work this time of year. I do change clothes before coming close to my growspace, but would love to know for sure what they are. Hope my description of them (if thats what you wanna call it lol) rings a bell with somebody
Red spider mites.

Where did you see PGR? It's an IGR (insect growth regulator) which is obviously a very different thing:

Like Piggy said, the Azadirachtin in AzaMax is an botanical insecticide extracted from the neem tree. I guess it's more concentrated than neem oil because it seems to be much more effective. I have used it for years on all kinds of plants and it has never affected the growth in any way.
