New Grower is autoflower right for me?

Soon I will set up my 1000w HPS/MH 5x5 grow tent. I still have to figure out what i'm going to grow. I have just a couple questions..

I'm curious as to what I could yield with auto flowers with that set up.

do autoflowers scrog well?

Could I do one auto flower plant and one regular plant, switching the light to 12/12 without doing too much damage to the autoflowers yield?

Looks like a good set up and sounds like you are a photo grower.

We have had some incredibly big yields. Depends on the strain, but, with big lights and a healthy environment all strains do well.

Not much scrog going on at the moment. Yes, you can scrog. Loads of plants in 5 x 5. Sog will work, too. Lots of sog grows with autos.

Autos mature according to age. So, light schedule is flexible--from 18/6 to 24/0. Most go with 20/4.

I am sure we have people growing both.What I have heard is most leave the auto in veg. tent/room. Most of us only have one tent--so, doing so in comb grows is mute. Someone will give you a definitive answer.

Though the autos don't need a photo dark period--they get finicky when the light schedule is not consistent. Most keep seedings under 24/0 then switch after a week and a half or two. Still other just go all the way 20/4.
