Lighting Is There a Benefit to Far Red(730nm) to Grow Light?

Looking around I found PCB LED that added 390nm, 660nm, 730nm diodes to supplement Samsung's lm561c 3000k spectrum.

Question being: What benefits are gained from the added Far Red? Or is it unnecessary?
