Lol I wasn't thinkng of getting up early especially to feed them, was just thinking about changing my lights on/off times. Il just leave it as it is, if it ain't broke, don't fix it!
Is it absolutely vital that you feed just before lights on? My lights come on at 3 in the morning and I start work fairly early, so feeding before work would be a ball ache as I'm not a morning person as it is
automation is your friend, digital timer with programmable settings, i use an 8 event 7 day timer i got for 6 bucks at target lol ghetto yes, but effective, bought 6 figuring they'd die quick but still have the 3 spares ,used 3 to run pump ,fan, light and it will turn on and off for 8 different timed events everyday , run it for X amount of time , X times a day , and make sure you have proper drainage , supply or recirculating system etc.. easy and cheap to do.

Sounds like a pretty good timer but I only need 1 and that's for my light. I have both fans (intake & extract) and my dehumidifier on 24/7 so I just leave them all plugged in, and I feed with a good old fashioned watering can so there's less to go wrong
In my area I run 3 , 1 for fan so exhausts is timed not to suck out when my CO2 is going ,2 to run pumps that feed in intervals , and then the3rd is light of course. also have an all in one 8 outlet , dip switch timer controller that runs propagation tent.
Big fan of automation of basic functions so I can focus on tending the ladies and monitoring ph, ec , etc lol
