Is this a calcium def?

My london tap water is 7.5' is it still ok to give my plants a shot of cal mag every week.the Biobizz company plus many other people on lots of forums suggest NOT to up or down the ph when using biobizz products. The soil and the nutes work in conjunction. I am sure that somebody will say different but i will take the advice of the majority on this.
Cheers

:greencheck: yup, Ca defc.! What are you growing in? Ca can get less available under 6.0, so maybe get the pH in low 6's-- pending your medium!... and as mentioned, demand is high at this stage,.. some plant also just seem to need more,...

@Waira rockwool and small rock wool cubes, both ph'd to 5.2 then my feed is oh'd to 5.8
like I mentioned it's only on one of the plants this symptom is on, should I be dosing calmag every feed?
Love the tools this forum gives me, a wealth of knowledge to consume and apply but one step at a time ha

Thanks everybody, re ph up and down when using biobizz products. There were some great posts on here a while back,
Somebody had been in touch with the company about other things and had great things to say about the company
I notice that bio bizz do not sell ph up and down products?
I e mailed them yesterday concerning my water ph (7.5) I will cut and paste their reply.

The calcium in your tap water is too big a molecule for your plants to uptake. It's reasonable to do a foliar spray of epsom salts if not to far in flower. Probably the best way for you cause you have allot of natural salts in your water and you risk lock out adding it in routinely to soil. (Future reference)

:greencheck:... molecular size has nothing to do with it mate, and it just the atomic cation Ca++ that's getting absorbed.. in solution CaCO3 dissociates into Ca++ and bicarbonate/carbonate, which the plant does nothing with (it's involved with pH buffering though)... and epsoms are only MgSO4, no Ca in there,...

...:smoking: Joey --roger that on rockwool,...get me whole plant pics if you can,... check this chart out; you're basically hydro for nute availability, and Ca is weakly available in the optimal range, so it's all too easy to come up short on it!... what's your water source, ppm and pH? If you're using RO/DI, then Ca-Mg is a must-add every time,...

.... a short term defc. won't mess with the buds much if at all, but longer term, and/or severe will lower yield and quality,... indeed, a foliar spray can speed thing in there, but it has to be done right, with a proper wetting agent, and a big caveat in potential mold risks while in bloom,... severity also factors in, so get me pics! I don't think you're there, but.....
