no worries mate, those single large ones at the stem bases there are the first ones to form, so called pre-sex flowers... look up some pics of male flowers and you'll see the difference, particularly the stalk the flower is attached to--- angle of the dangle man!
.... nanners are a different deal, appearing in the bud proper and not forming a typical male flower at all,...
