I'm a dirty hermit

Love the title ^_^

Yoda, if you're going to be breeding you need to do more reading. Those are standard pre-flowers on the stalk at the node where they should be.

That's what I thought piggy but its the only plant of them I've seen do that, and I was messing with it big time, adjusting light schedules, drying it out, not feeding over feeding etc.., just wanted to be 100% sure was all... And in no way am I ANY WHERE NEAR close to having anything yet, this is going to be a learning journey that I EXPECT and know it will take lots of reading, learning, trying, making mistakes, experimenting, and one day i hope success aetc... Just a noob looking for a little hand holding, hey what can I say, maybe pansy referring to the plant or me... just a student looking for you wonderful teachers ;)

Mr Piggy hope you don't mind me correcting you but they are actually flowers, the preflower are the the thing that look a like a set of green horns at the axil of the node and are called stipules.
You could say they are pre-florescence flowers.

And those flowers continue to grow at the node point, they don't just fall off. I stand by my statement.

Don't worry yoda we all make mistakes it is how we learn.

Even people in positions of power make mistakes just look at the mess goverments make, problem is they never learn ;)

As some one already stated, try to do as much reading on the subjects you want to learn, studying is a fantastic way of learning but so is experimentation.

The main thing is don't ever give up, you can do anything you want to if you try hard enough.

Good luck

Peace

It's the starting of preflowering,it's a female.Maybe you should check the knew growers thread to refresh your memory.:crying:

Mr Piggy I meant no disrespect but in response to the original question posed in the thread -
Is this a hermit?

I have a plant that on each of the nodes just one balls looking thing with two pistils coming out are there.. What is this? Beginning of foxtailing or hermie?

The balls refered to are swollen calyxes which are flowers and not stipules, which whilst you are correct the stipules occur at the (axil) of the node, is not pertinent to the question posed.

I hope this clears up any misunderstanding.

Peace

Growez
