Hey guys my babies went into final pots 3 days ago. Since they are seedlings I was wondering if me feeding them nutes now will be OK. I have fed them at 1/8 strength of gh flora micro and grow with 1 ml calmag. Coco was treated with calmag during soaking. Any info is appreciated thanks

Im pretty new at all of this but i would not feed any nutes until at least day 10 from what i have learned. Those little round leaves have more than enough in them to get them there.

Even day 10 is a little early.....i started at 1/8 around day 14-16 with my current grow

Someone with more experience may say otherwise but i strongly doubt it....

Good luck with your grow bud!

How often are you guys watering your seedlings. Mine are in 3gal smart pots? I been going by feel with finger. Sorry if it seems like a goofy question. Been doing 8oz water 2times every other day.

flynfish welcome to the wonderful world of coco you should start feeding from day 1 I use canna A+B I mix up a ltr at a time my feeds are 1 ml liquid silica,4 ml rhizotonic, and 1 ml Canna A+B(each) ph'd to 5.8 at first each plant gets 250 ml of water just around the plant stem as you want your tap root to burrow to the bottom of your pot when the coco looks dry on top water again I feed every time with coco I started 2 girls they are 11 days old now and just upped there feed to 1.5 ml A+B per ltr of water hope that helps :pass:

I last used 4 gal plastics pot and i would water in a circle about 2-3 inches around the seedlings if the medium was dry inside and used a spray bottle to keep the top from drying out too quickly and prevent overwatering.

Thats just me tho.....

Edit: Might want to try Wile e Peyote suggestion since he has experience with coco

OK I am giving them 1ml calmag along with using gh flora series nutes. Yesterday was first feed. Mixed it at 1/4 strength for 2gal water. Ph'd water around 5.5-5.8 hard to tell using drops. I gotta get me a meter soon.been watering close to plant like that as well. But was wondering if twice a day is too much.

Dude your plant will tell you if you overwater they go all droopy and the leaves look fat and wrinkled and the best thing about coco once the roots are established after about 2 to 3 weeks it's almost impossible to overwater I feed mine up to 8 times a day on a drip system never lost one to overwatering yet
Oh and get that ph meter as soon as dude the drops ain't that good

OK. Just being an overprotective parent ha-ha. You guys know how it is when you try something new. Just don't want to f it up but thanks for the advice and help. Hopefully I will get a better yield than I did in soil.
