Well then, I obviously hain't spent enough time gazing at the plants. Today I actually spied 2 thrips and damned if I didn't also discern a mite or two.
With respect to the mites I have as yet to see any webbing but..... Every single indication of thrips is glaringly obvious to me..... now. Ah me, grow and learn.

I went ahead and gave em' all a soap spray.
Watered with baking soda this morning. 12 hours later and all pots are solid on 6.2 ph, no change. How long until you would expect to see a change from the baking soda?
Will see what the morrow brings!
Sorry about the buggies man, I was also going to say I thin I see a little SM damage but I didn't want to bombard you with bad info. I would def get some stickies just in case and keep using neem, if that don't work. pytrithieum should knock em out
