Just an update on my bad luck.
The kitchen isn't finished, the twat we bought it off of ordered 2 units wrong, the shop is never open, he won't answer his phone. He will only communicate via email and refuses to supply what we need at his expense. So now we have to pay for the parts and take the dickheads to small claims after. I can't even have a pint as the keg of stella we have has a different tap adapter, I've got one of those and am now awaiting delivery of some plumbing parts to convert it. We unboxed a brand new Samsung curved tele which didn't work, also a tefal fryer thingy that was broken.
Me and itisher are properly on edge, we've even exchanged a few cross words (we hardly argue now days after 28 years you realise what a waste of time it is).
The positives. The flooring is amazing, the tiler is shit hot, they're high gloss tiles and the reflection in them is perfect, not a crooked tile anywhere. The sparky has arranged all the appliance switches neatly by the distance board, no crawling in cupboards to find spurs. All the Albanians have been spot on actually. Itisher wanted a boiling tap, that works perfectly, so at least we can have a brew.
