Photoperiod Barneys Farm - Peyote Crit/Watermelon Zkittles/Mimosa X Orange Punch

So I am definitely battling some king of major lock out or perhaps actual deficiency on both the mimosa and the watermelon.

Its the classic rust spots from calcium deficiency but this time I don't think its calcium deficiency. They are forming on the last and second to last sets of fan leaves that pushed out right before the stretch ended, I dont have pics of symptoms in particular, but everything is all over. And a good 40% of each plant is starting to look like shit.

Again the peyote is doing fine.

Took some general pics, and you can see what Im talking about there, looks like the mimosa is starting to turn purple too but with all the yellowing and dead spots its hard to see it. A couple leaves on the watermelon are turning purple too but Im wondering if this is all lock out symptoms, and phosphorus is locked out too. Some pics are lights on and some are lights off, and there's a eagle eye of each plant if you wanna zoom in and look around. Im about 35-40 days away from breeder reccomended window so I don't know if its worth trying to fix what's going on. Its probably gonna be more like 45-55 more days though. They all ran a little longer last time.

i did give both the watermelon and mimosa a heavy watering on saturday. Even when they started to run off they didnt really seem to pick up much weight. So I basically flushed them almost. A medium strength feed and I pumped 2 gallons of water through each. They ran off quite a bit for the first gallon and after the second it barely ran off at all. The ppm of the feed was about 450 and what I was figuring was there wasy hydrophobic spots in the soil that had heavy salt deposits trapped in them and I loosened all that shit up when I gave them all that water. Becauss thats what kick started everything. All that yellow and dead spots is from saturday sunday and today. Though it seems to have slowed down a ton overnight.

I gotta figure out something for the future too. All the gardening stores near me are dropping fox farm everything besides dry ferts and the trio. And Im not really liking that I only have 1 healthy plant every grow even though they all get treated the same. I know each plant handles everything a little differently, genetics and whatever. But its gotta be inconsistencies in the soil or something, because I find it hard to believe treating all 3 the same and theres basically nothing wrong with one whole plant, not a single rust spots, no yellowing nothing.

Anyway, if anyone watching has some ideas. I wanna stick with soil, so Im thinking of maybe leaning towards the organic side, that way all I have to do is water and top dress once or twice. I was really liking fox farm because I thought I was getting the hang of it and it just keeps throwing me into the same exact spot Im always in no matter how much I try and tweak it. Last time the mimosa was the healthy one this time its the peyote, both times at around the same time the watermelon just started spiraling. Hopefully I can actually smoke this one though.
I use fox farm stuff specifically because it has great quality control, mother Earth is another soil that works well and is easy to find, just make sure to add in perlite cause it all needs it.

They are still carrying the soils, well happy frog and Ocean Forest, and the original trio, but not any of the "recharge" stuff like microbe brew and kelp, kangaroots and boomerang, so like literally half of the soil feed schedule is unavailable to me unless I get it on amazon and its ridiculously expensive.

I get it, what you're saying. The only products I use are the liquid trio for soil. I use botanicare silica, ful-power fulvex, TPS cal-mag(when I use RO/distilled), greenleaf Sea-k and bud booster(pk boost), amd snow storm ultra for trial. They all work together really well, and I have selected them specifically for their low to no calcium content. Because I feed with dechlorinated tap water it all works really good for me. But you don't have to use the same companies line. As long as you make sure you aren't doubling up or worse on ingredients.

I try to follow the schedule provided by fox farm, just not the ppms they say. I mix then dilute to like anywhere between 650-800

Because 2030ppm at week 6 seems awful hot.

I used a similar chart with gh nutrients for a while and still use that basic fox farm schedule, kinda, I have made minor adjustments and found what works for me. I never run the full line of any product/company as there is a lot that is unnecessary and a lot of money. You could honestly get away with just using the three part and still have great buds, but certain things like silica, humic/fulvic, tria, and certain mycos and bennies arent in fox farm and even alot of other lines.

I also basically run 800-1200ppms because my starting points tap water is already 400ppm

Thats why I use microbe brew and kangaroots and boomerang, I dont use the full line. Those have beni fungi and bacteria.

Flower (end of week 5) New
Another week down. As I mentioned problems all over. It is what it is. The watermelon seems to be bouncing back a bit. Dead spots still popping up. But there seems to be a lot more deep green. The Mimosa......I cant decide if its trying to change color or if its just getting worse and honestly I think its a little of both. It does turn purple red and orange in some of the stock pics, but dead spots are still popping up everywhere on her.

Been giving them plain water the last few days. Well as plain as my spring water can be. I think after I use up thr last of my happy frog is used up, which will be the next grow, Im gonna try giving organics a go. My local stores are overflowing with the stuff plus I wanna try out purple cows indicanja out. Im skeptical about it because it says its got everything you need from seed to harvest but theres no info about what's actually in the stuff so Im gonna go look at it because they have pallets of the stuff right down the road. I doubt it will take a plant fully from seed to harvest but Im really warming up to the idea of just watering and maybe top dressing once or twice a cycle and letting the microbes and the plants worry about feeding eachother. So far I've seen pretty much a similar version of everything organic on here and scattered around the internet organics-wise in my gardening store in town.

Anyway here's some pics. If they don't all load Ill reload this post later, I dont like using my company wifi to upload, and I get shit service at work.
